Burn Permits

General information.

Request a Residential Burn Permit (vegetative material from a single- or dual-family homes, fire less than 4′ ⨉ 4′).

Request a General or Broadcast Burn Permit (all others, such as large pile burning, agricultural burns, incinerators, hazardous projects that could cause a fire – such as outdoor welding – and larger controlled applications of fire to the land for fuel reduction purposes).

KMFD Home Location Forms

The Home Information Form is a KMFD confidential document that we may use in an emergency situation (such as a wildland fire or structure fire) so we can better locate: access, utilities, water sources, potential special rescue situations, and contact information.  This is completely voluntary; the KMFD does not share this document/information with anyone else, unless explicitly providing this permission to share with the KM Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) as needed in an emergency.
